FO: Lime Ishbel

Pattern: Ishbel, from Whimsical Little Knits
Yarn: Handmaiden Sea Silk, 2/3s of a skein
Needles: 3.5 mm

I, er, may have cast on for this in mid-December. It sorta got lost in the holiday shuffle and I picked it up again a few days ago, just in time for spring.

Still love the pattern (in fact, I think I may knit it a third time, in laceweight, for summer, if I can manage to actually settle on a yarn), and the yarn is beyond gorgeous. Sea Silk is one of my faves, for good reason. Mmm.

Today’s been rainy and grey, so I couldn’t manage a photo that let the yarn look as crazy bold lime as it is. It’s really ridiculously bright.

Wow, that yarn IS amazing! I’ve got an Ishbel in progress that I’ve been neglecting and I think you’ve inspired me to pick it back up!

I *love* the colour. :-D I’ve had a skein of Seasilk for ages now, and am almost tempted to use it for one of these. I’m always scared of running out of yarn. :-/
